Privacy Policy

How WorldWideBridge collects, uses, and protects personal data submitted through this website.

01

Data Controller

WWBridge LLC, Sharjah Media City (Shams), P.O. Box 515000, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, is the controller responsible for the personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at order@wwbridge.org with any question about how your data is handled.

02

Our Representative in the European Economic Area

WWBridge LLC has no establishment in the European Economic Area. Our processing of personal data submitted through this website is limited to responding to the enquiries you initiate and preparing the certification proposals you request; it is not carried out on a large scale and does not involve special categories of data. On this basis we rely on the exemption in Art. 27(2)(a) GDPR and have not appointed an EU representative. If our processing activities change in a way that removes this exemption, we will appoint one and update this policy.

03

What Data We Collect

We collect the information you provide directly through our forms — such as your name, email address, phone number, company, destination market, and message — together with any correspondence that follows. We also collect limited technical data through cookies, including your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. Providing the information requested in our contact form is voluntary, but if you leave out fields marked as required, we may not be able to respond to your enquiry or prepare a certification proposal.

04

Purposes of Processing

We use your data to respond to your enquiries and prepare certification proposals, to perform the contracts we enter into for our services, to maintain and improve this website, and — only where you have separately opted in — to send you updates or news about WorldWideBridge.

05

Legal Basis

We rely on pre-contractual and contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) to respond to your service enquiries; on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for marketing communications and non-essential cookies; and on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in keeping this website secure and improving it, an interest we have weighed against your rights.

06

Cookies

This site uses strictly necessary cookies to operate correctly, and analytics cookies to help us understand how visitors use it. Analytics cookies are only set once you accept them through the cookie banner shown on your first visit. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time by reopening your cookie preferences from the site footer, or by adjusting your browser settings; withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

07

Sharing With Third Parties

We share personal data only where necessary to deliver our services — with accredited testing laboratories, certification bodies, logistics providers, and professional advisers acting on our instructions. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

08

International Data Transfers

Because WWBridge LLC is based in the United Arab Emirates, responding to your enquiry involves transferring your data outside the European Economic Area. The European Commission has not issued an adequacy decision for the UAE, so these transfers take place either because you have asked us, before entering into a contract, to take steps at your request (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR), or, where we use processors established elsewhere, under contractual safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR). Contact order@wwbridge.org for more information about the safeguards used for a specific transfer.

09

Data Retention

We keep enquiry data only for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry or maintain our client relationship with you, plus any period we are required to retain it under applicable statutory limitation periods. Where you have opted in to marketing communications, we keep that data until you withdraw your consent.

10

Your Rights

Under Articles 15 to 21 GDPR, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, ask us to restrict or object to processing, request your data in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting past processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact order@wwbridge.org. You may also lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in your country of residence, your place of work, or the place where the alleged infringement occurred (Art. 77 GDPR).

11

Automated Decision-Making

We do not use your personal data for any automated decision-making, including profiling, that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.

12

Data Security

We apply technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including access controls and encryption in transit, to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.

13

Children

Our services are directed at businesses, not consumers. This website is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

14

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when our practices or legal obligations change. The current version is always the one published on this page. If you have any questions, contact order@wwbridge.org.
